How many guards does my event need?
A common baseline is one guard per 75–100 guests, plus dedicated coverage for entrances, bars and parking. Book the number you need in the Guardy app — you can add guards later if your headcount grows.
Can I get Smart Serve certified guards for a licensed event?
Yes. Guardy lets you request guards holding Smart Serve certification, which many venues and insurers require when alcohol is served in Ontario.
What happens if my event runs longer than booked?
You can extend the booking from the app during the shift. The guard confirms, and billing continues at the same transparent hourly rate — no overtime surprises.
